GEOCENTRIC EARTH: DOES THE EARTH HAVE AN ORBITAL MOTION ?

Verily! Allah grasps the heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places, and if they were to move away from their places, there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Truly, He is Ever Most Forbearing, OftForgiving. Surah Fatir Verse 41

ShaykhṢāliḥ al-Fawzān said: “There is no doubt with us or with the Believers regarding that, that the Earth is stationary and that the Sun orbits around it, as do the stars and the other celestial bodies (aflāk), that they orbit the Earth. There is no doubt about this. This is what is evidenced in the Qurʾān and the Sunnah.”
